Seed Packet Donation Request

Each year Adaptive Seeds supports many local and national organizations through our Seed Packet Donation Program. Our Program focuses on boots-on-the-ground groups working to create spaces within their communities to support increased food security, seed saving and distribution, and farming and nutrition education- just to name a few!

We work with farm and food non-profit organizations, as well as seed libraries, school and community gardens, seed swap organizers, neighborhood food banks and more! We do not require nonprofit status, if you’re doing good work in your community and need seeds, we want to help.

In general, we do not donate to give-aways, raffles, private groups, or individuals seeking seed for themselves. If you are an individual seeking seed for personal use, we recommend heading to your nearest seed library (often these are housed within your local library!) If you’re local library doesn’t already have a seed library, see if you can help one get starterd (maybe even have them come here to fill out a donation request!)

To be considered for a seed donation, please fill out this form and include as much info as you can. Make sure to enter a valid USPS delivery address and an active email. (If these are missing, we can’t send you seed!)

We begin accepting donations requests in the Fall and donations ship beginning in January.

Please note that, as a small business, we are not able to meet every donation request we receive, but we do our very best to get as many seeds into the hands of as many folks as we possibly can. Thanks for understanding.

Due to shipping and import restrictions, Seed Donations are limited to US delivery addresses only.
Please only submit one request per group or organization.

*Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we are unable to respond to every request, nor are we able to check the status of your requests.
